Riz qualified from RGUHS Bangalore in 2002 and moved to the UK in 2006. She worked in Birmingham with some of the best dental practices for eight years where she developed different skills including I.V. sedation and facial aesthetics, but her dream was to specialise in prosthodontics. In 2014 Riz was selected for the four year MClindent Prosthodontics training at the prestigious postgraduate dental department of King’s College London, which is best known for its research in tooth wear. This is the main area of interest for Riz and she completed her thesis on ‘Combined effect of attrition and erosion on enamel and dentin ‘. Riz completed her course in September 2019 and is now a specialist in prosthodontics
Riz has undertaken a number of cases of full mouth rehabilitation of severely worn dentition and replacement of missing teeth with implants, bridges or dentures. She has a keen eye for aesthetics but her main goal is always achieving functional and long lasting restorations for the patient be it a single crown or a full mouth reconstruction.
