Consultant and Specialist in Endodontics
Alex qualified in 2002 from Universita’ Cattolica in Rome, Italy.
He moved to the UK in 2004 where he worked in general practice before starting his specialist training in Endodontology at King’s College London.
He completed his MClinDent and MEndo in 2012 after which he started working at King’s College Hospital training and supervising MClinDent students and junior staff.
In 2017 he was appointed as Consultant in Endodontics at King’s College Hospital and continues to work there on a part time basis. In addition to his teaching and supervision, Alex is also part of the team responsible for the running of the Dental Trauma Unit at King’s, the leading dental trauma unit in the UK. Alex also works as a specialist endodontist in private practice in London, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
Alex has published peer reviewed papers in both the International Endodontic Journal and the Journal of Endodontics and is a contributing author for a forthcoming book on Dental Traumatology. He regularly lectures to post-grads and general dentists and has lectured at the annual conference of Dental Trauma UK.
When not stuck inside root canals, Alex enjoys spending time with his young family, cooking and photography.
