Love your smile again

Dental implants are as close as we can possibly get to a natural tooth, both in function and appearance – and at Guildhall Dental we can restore your smile in just one day!

Imagine how it would feel to start your day with wobbly dentures stuck down with adhesive and later the same day leave our state-of-the-art practice in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, with a full set of dentures securely fixed onto four (or six) implants.

How do fast implants work?

With same day teeth we can place implants directly into the tooth sockets after what’s left of your natural tooth has been removed. However, this is not always possible as it depends upon there being enough strong bone within the gum. We will be able to determine whether you are suitable for fast implants when you join us for an implant assessment.

How long do implants last?

In a healthy person with a healthy mouth and bone, implant roots (the metal part) should last as long as your natural teeth. They need caring for as natural teeth do. The crowns or bridges supported by the implants can last a decade or more.

Will treatment hurt?

All treatment is carried out under a local anesthetic making the area numb. Dental implant treatment is a minor surgical procedure that has been performed for many years, with excellent success rates.

What if I feel nervous?

We understand that some people don’t like coming to the dentist, especially to have complex treatment. We do everything we can to ensure that our patients are made to feel at ease, and that they’re in safe hands. Our purpose-built practice has been specifically designed for patient comfort, creating a welcoming ambience that will help to alleviate feelings of anxiety.

Is sedation an option?

Yes, this is an option for patients who find the thought of treatment worrying. Guildhall Dental’s accredited implantologist, John Hare, will talk you through the options available during your consultation.

How much do dental implants cost?

Please click here to see the fees. Over time, dental implants will prove to be the most cost-effective solution to replacing missing teeth. Although the initial outlay may appear high, considered over say, a 20-year period, the ongoing cost of dentures or fixed bridges would be much greater. Plus you won’t experience sore gums, messy adhesives or embarrassing or awkward moments with loose dentures.
