Mrs Carson came to see me as she was having a problem with her bridge. The bridge was loose because two of the roots which were supporting the bridge had failed and required extracting. The problem was discussed with Mrs Carson and as she had previously had a difficult experience with an extraction many years ago she decided to have the procedure carried out whilst being sedated. After a thorough health assessment the extractions were performed under intravenous conscious sedation. Mrs Carson was extremely happy to have had the extractions done this way as she was so relaxed and cannot remember having the teeth extracted.
